16. Amphiphilic Polymers as Additives in Biomedical Polyurethanes. Surface Properties and Morphology
Sammanfattning : The aim of this work was to achieve surface modification of two biomedical polyurethanes and one poly(urethane urea) through the addition of small amounts of amphiphilic copolymers in solution. The matrix polymers used were the poly(ether urethane)s Pellethane 2363-80AE (P80) and 2363-75D (P75) and a poly(ether urethane urea) similar to Biomer (PUUR). LÄS MER
17. Catalytic Incineration of CO and VOC Emissions over Supported Metal Oxide Catalysts
Sammanfattning : Catalytic incineration is one of the methods to reduce the emissions of CO and VOCs. Low operation temperature and low catalyst cost are essential parameters for catalytic incinerators. Pt/Al2O3 catalysts are frequently used today, but the cheaper metal oxide catalysts can be very competitive if comparable overall activity is obtained. LÄS MER
18. Surface modification of inorganic materials with graphene oxide : From solution to high-temperature synthesis
Sammanfattning : The use of graphene as an additive in materials is often challenging due to the agglomeration of the two-dimensional graphene sheets. An alternative additive is graphene oxide (GO), an oxidized form of graphene, which is easily dispersed in water. LÄS MER
19. Micromechanical retention and chemical bonding to polycrystalline dental ceramics : studies on aluminum oxide and stabilized zirconium dioxide
20. Lithium titanate as anode material in lithium-ion batteries : -A surface study
Sammanfattning : The ever increasing awareness of the environment and sustainability drives research to find new solutions in every part of society. In the transport sector, this has led to a goal of replacing the internal combustion engine (ICE) with an electrical engine that can be powered by renewable electricity. LÄS MER
