  1. 1. Att byta ut skadliga kemikalier : substitutionsprincipen - en miljörättslig analys

    Författare :Annika Nilsson; Juridiska institutionen; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; hazardous chemicals; implementation; chemical legislation; substitution; sustainable development; environmental law; miljörätt;

    Sammanfattning : The principle of substitution is, in national and international contexts, regarded as an important instrument when striving towards sustainable development and sustainable handling of chemicals.This thesis deals with the principle as it is formulated in the Swedish Act of Chemical Products. 2. 2. Bortom kontroll? : Den svenska kemikalieövervakningens logik

    Författare :Simon Haikola; Jonas Anshelm; Per Gyberg; Magnus Boström; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Chemicals control; chemicals regulation; uncertainty; risk regulation; environmental monitoring; simulacra; environmental politics; substitution principle; precautionary principle; Kemikaliekontroll; kemikaliereglering; osäkerhet; riskreglering; miljögiftsövervakning; miljöövervakning; simulacra; miljöpolitik; kemikaliepolitik; produktvalsprincipen; försiktighetsprincipen;

    Sammanfattning : Kemikalier utgör en grundläggande beståndsdel av det senindustriella samhället, och en omfattande produktion av kemikalier brukar allmänt anses som en nödvändig förutsättning för teknisk utveckling och ekonomisk tillväxt. I Sverige ledde miljölarmen om DDT, PCB och kvicksilver på 1960- och 1970-talet till inrättandet av ett system för kemikaliekontroll som brukar framhållas som ett av världens främsta. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Chemicals in consumer products : Towards a safe and sustainable use

    Författare :Linda Molander; Christina Rudén; Sven Ove Hansson; Mattias Öberg; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :consumer products; articles; hazardous chemicals; risk management; chemicals regulation; REACH; substitution; regulatory toxicology; European Union;

    Sammanfattning : Health and environmental risks associated with emissions of hazardous chemicals from articles, including everyday consumer products such as clothes and toys, have become widely acknowledged internationally, particularly in the EU. This thesis contributes to new understandings of how these risks are currently managed within the EU and recommends actions for ensuring a safe and sustainable use of chemicals in articles. LÄS MER

  4. 4. A Natural Interpretation of Classical Proofs

    Författare :Jens Brage; Per Martin-Löf; Sara Negri; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Brouwer-Heyting-Kolmogorov; classical logic; constructive type theory; constructive semantics; proof interpretation; double-negation; continuation-passing-style; natural deduction; sequent calculus; cut elimination; explicit substitution; Mathematical logic; Matematisk logik;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis we use the syntactic-semantic method of constructive type theory to give meaning to classical logic, in particular Gentzen's LK.We interpret a derivation of a classical sequent as a derivation of a contradiction from the assumptions that the antecedent formulas are true and that the succedent formulas are false, where the concepts of truth and falsity are taken to conform to the corresponding constructive concepts, using function types to encode falsity. 5. 5. The sensational hand. Clinical assessment after nerve repair

    Författare :Birgitta Rosén; Malmö Handkirurgi; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; substitution of senses; artificial sensibility; reliability; validity; diagnose-specific; documentation; assessment; longitudinal; functional outcome; hand; sensibility; ulnar nerve; nerve repair; median nerve; brain plasticity; Surgery; orthopaedics; traumatology; Kirurgi; ortopedi; traumatologi;

    Sammanfattning : Following the transection and repair of major nerve trunks in the forearm, the functional outcome is influenced by mechanisms in the peripheral, as well as in the central nervous system. In the present thesis the interest is focused on assessment of the outcome after nerve repair, central nervous factors influencing the outcome, and sense substitution to compensate for sensory loss.
