    Sammanfattning : Fiber/matrix interface cracking plays an important role in determining the final failure of unidirectional composites. In the present study, energy release rate (ERR) for fiber/matrix interface debond growth originated from fiber break in unidirectional composite is calculated using 5-cylinders axisymmetric and 3-D FEM models with hexagonal fiber arrangement.     Sammanfattning : Background: Since a financial crisis in the 1990’s employees in the Swedish public sector have suffered from work stress and related consequences such as long-term sick leave. Reduced working hours has long been debated in Sweden as a possible way of improving psychosocial health, and was therefore empirically evaluated in a large, quasi-experimental trial in four public sectors; care and welfare, call centers, technology, and the social services.     Sammanfattning : The aim of this thesis is to indicate key organizational attributes in the health care work environment that can have an impact on both personnel well-being and the quality of care they provide. In order to achieve this aim, four steps were carried out: identifying important individual and organizational attributes, testing the validity and reliability of the measurement instrument and process, testing a mediational model using structural equation modeling, and investigating the effects of a quality improvement initiative on personnel and patients.
