16. GaN, AlGaN, GaNAs and Related Heterostructures Grown by Molecular Beam Epitaxy
Sammanfattning : This work deals with growth and characterization of III-nitrides and related heterostructures as well as GaNAs alloys grown by plasma assisted molecular beam epitaxy (MBE). The III-nitrides belong to the wide bandgap semiconductors due to their large energy bandgap spanning from 1.9 to 6.2 eV. LÄS MER
17. Towards sustainable energy consumption : Electricity demand flexibility and household fuel choice
Sammanfattning : Paper [I] investigates household heterogeneity in valuing electricity contract attributes that include various load controls and information sharing to induce demand flexibility. Using a stated preference choice experiment conducted with Swedish households, this paper shows that, although a large proportion of households ask for substantial compensation, some households are willing to share their electricity consumption information and require relatively lower compensation to allow load controls. 19. Stacking of interferometric data - a submillimetre and radio view on the evolution of distant galaxies
Sammanfattning : Understanding the processes of galaxy evolution requires observational constraints on the physical properties of galaxies at different times in the history of the universe. Large and deep surveys at visible and near-infrared wavelengths have produced extensive catalogues of high-redshift galaxies, spanning a large range of the history of the universe. LÄS MER
20. Active and passive seismic methods for investigating the glacially-triggered Burträsk fault
Sammanfattning : Glacially-triggered faults are of high scientific interest since their formation was likely accompanied by major earthquakes and they are still a centre of seismicity in northern Fennoscandia, today. Imaging their deeper structure mainly relies on reflection seismics since the method generally has the best resolving power at depth of all geophysical methods. LÄS MER
