    Sammanfattning : Gasoline direct injection is a state-of-the-art technique that reduces hydrocarbon and particulate emissions. However, further improvement is needed to meet current as well as future emission regulations. LÄS MER

  2. 7. Spray and Spray Combustion Characteristics of Diesel-Ethanol Fuel Blends

    Författare :Chengjun Du; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; combustion; spray images; Diesel-ethanol blends;

    Sammanfattning : In Diesel engines, the quality of fuel atomization and fuel-air mixing inside the cylinder have important effects on the combustion process, and therefore strongly related to the fuel efficiency and emission formation. To understand how the injected fuel mixes with air and combustion processes in a Diesel engine, fundamental spray experiments can be carried out in a constant chamber under different engine-like conditions.
