    Sammanfattning : δ-Aminolevulinic acid (ALA) and its methyl ester (m-ALA) are both used in photodynamic therapy (PDT) of certain non melanoma skin cancers as the basal cell carcinoma (BCC). In PDT the cancer cells are destroyed by a photochemical reaction that occurs when a photosensitive molecule is irradiated with light of a certain wavelength. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : A new kind of lipid/polymer composite particle, consisting of a biodegradable polymer matrix with well-defined lipid domains, has been created.     Sammanfattning : In the baking industry, emulsifiers in the alpha-gel state are used for foam formation. This thesis focuses on some parts of the effects of the emulsifier: how the foam formation and foam stability are influenced by the physical state of the emulsifier, how emulsifiers change the gelatinization and gel formation of starch, and the impact that these factors may have in a true product such as a sponge cake.
