2. Making travel sustainable with ICT? : The social practice of travel planning and travel information use in everyday life
Sammanfattning : Adopting the perspective of the traveller, this thesis examines how travel plans are actually made in the everyday situation and how information is used and drawn on when planning the many, often unremarkable, trips of ordinary urban life. Ethnographical field studies in southern Stockholm, Sweden, employing a practice theory perspective showed that people use a vast mixture of different types of information when planning and making trips. 3. Näten på Limhamn : Sociala relationer i ett lokalsamhälle 1870-1914
Sammanfattning : The aim of the study is to examine, using the social networks as a starting-point, the way a local community is constructed in a specific historical context, namely the industrial community of Limhamn in southern Sweden at the time of the Industrial Revolution 1870-1914. In 1870 the Skånska Cement Company initiated a large-scale extraction of limestone in the area and soon had cement works built in the village, making Limhamn undergo a rapid urbanization. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : This thesis covers 12 years of experience in treating patients with congenital capillary malformations, so called port wine stains (PWS). The wide variation in treatment response to laser therapy has developed a profound need for the development of objective devises to measure treatment outcome, so that the maximum effectiveness of therapy can be achieved without unnecessary treatments.
