  1. 1. Modification of zeolites and synthesis of SAPO-templated carbon

    Författare :Yunxiang Li; Niklas Hedin; Anders Palmqvist; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; microporous material; zeolite; SAPO templated carbon; hydrothermal synthesis; CVD; post modification; direct modification; snowflake; Materials Chemistry; materialkemi;

    Sammanfattning : Zeolites are crystalline aluminosilicates with diverse structures and uniform porosities. They are widely used as catalysts, adsorbents and ion-exchangers in industry. Direct or post modifications optimize the performance of zeolites for different applications. In this thesis, IZM-2 and TON-type zeolites were synthesized, modified and studied. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Nonlinear elliptic problems with boundary blow-up

    Författare :Jerk Matero; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Mathematics; Boundary blow-up; NTA domain; fractal; p-Laplaceoperator; Mange-Ampère operator; viscosity solution; mean curvature flow; gradient estimate; Fefferman s equation; superdiffusion; entire solution; maximum principle; Primary 35J65; MATEMATIK; MATHEMATICS; MATEMATIK; matematik; Mathematics;

    Sammanfattning : A classical problem in differential geometry is the prescribed curvature problemin a bounded domain, where the task is to conformally deform the Euclidean metric to another complete Riemannian metric with a prescribed curvature function.If this function is negative, the problem is equivalent to solving a nonlinear elliptic partial differential equation with boundary blow-up. 3. 3. Exploring geographical metadata by automatic and visual data mining

    Författare :Urška Demšar; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :;

    Sammanfattning : Metadata are data about data. They describe characteristicsand content of an original piece of data. Geographical metadatadescribe geospatial data: maps, satellite images and othergeographically referenced material. LÄS MER
