1. The Precipitation and Deformation Behaviour of Superaustenitic Stainless Steel
Sammanfattning : The present study concerns the precipitation behaviour and the deformation characteristics of a superaustenitic stainless steel with composition Fe-24Cr-22Ni-7.3Mo-0.5N (wt%). Regarding precipitation, also materials with Mo partially replaced by W have been studied. LÄS MER
2. A Model for Simulation of Fiber Suspension Flows
Sammanfattning : The fiber suspensions in the production line from wood topaper are subjected to many types of chemical and mechanicalprocesses, in which the flow of the suspension is of vitalimportance. The flow of the suspension determines the degree ofuniformity of the fibers through the processing, which inreturn affects the properties of the fiber suspension. LÄS MER
3. Cyclic behaviour of carburized steel
Sammanfattning : The fatigue properties of carburized low alloyed steel have been investigated. The tests in axial fatigue showed that surface carbon below 0.8% and low amounts of retained austenite are advantageous. In bending fatigue the effects of tempering and of surface condition were studied. LÄS MER
4. Structural Behaviour of Deteriorated Concrete Structures
Sammanfattning : A growing concern for better assessment of existing concrete structures has revealed a need for improved understanding of the structural effects of deterioration. The two most common causes of deterioration in concrete structures are freezing of the concrete and corrosion of the reinforcement. LÄS MER
5. High-Temperature Behaviour of Austenitic Alloys : Influence of Temperature and Strain Rate on Mechanical Properties and Microstructural Development
Sammanfattning : The global increase in energy consumption and the global warming from greenhouse gas emission creates the need for more environmental friendly energy production processes. Biomass power plants with higher efficiency could generate more energy but also reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, e.g. CO2. LÄS MER
