    Sammanfattning : Voluntary Ship Preservation in Norway: — Historical Background, Scope and Motivation Introduction: Today historic ships are recognised and publicly valued as an important part of Nor-way’s cultural heritage, with substantial annual government funding for preservation. State funds finance not only docking and repairs of listed ships at commercial shipyards, but also encourage volunteer activity with provision of parts and materials for projects that can take a decade or more to achieve the typical aim of making a historic vessel once again seaworthy.     Sammanfattning : Aims: To analyse the relationship between country of birth/ethnicity, socio-economic status (SES) and impaired mobility, impaired working capacity, cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors, health behaviours among those with CVD risk factors, self-reported health status, impaired instrumental activities of daily living (IADL) and all-cause mortality. Methods: Two main data sources were used: the Swedish Survey of Living Conditions (in Swedish ULF) 1986–1993, people aged 55–74 years, and the Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES III) 1988–1994 in the USA, people aged 65–84.     Sammanfattning : The primary aim of this investigation was to evaluate a seven-weekmultidisciplinary rehabilitation programme, with emphasis onmusculoskeletal disorders, for working-age people, by assessments at thestart and end of the rehabilitation programme, and at follow-upexaminations 6, 12 and 24 months after completion of the programme.
