  1. 1. DIGIROP prediction models for severe retinopathy of prematurity

    Författare :Aldina Pivodic; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; preterm birth; retinopathy of prematurity; prediction models; screening; clinical decision support tool;

    Sammanfattning : BACKGROUND: Retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), a preventable, potentially blinding eye disease, is primarily diagnosed in extremely preterm infants. Gestational age (GA) and birth weight (BW) are the most prominent risk factors. Routine ROP examinations are performed to identify the low proportion of infants who progress to needing treatment. Författare :Bodil Eckert; Lund Medicin; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Endocrinology; severe retinopathy.; QT interval; Type 1 diabetes; cerebral blood flow; secreting systems; diabetology; Endokrinologi; sekretion; diabetologi;

    Sammanfattning : Hypoglycaemia is an acute complication to insulin-treatment in type 1 diabetes mellitus, which affects many physiological parameters, deteriorates the cognitive function, and may lead to death. The aim of this thesis was to study nerve function, cognitive function and cerebral blood flow during and after hypoglycaemia in healthy subjects and to study certain aspects of a fall in blood glucose in patients with type 1 diabetes mellitus.
