  1. 1. HEALTH PROMOTION AND HEALTHCARE ARCHITECTURE - Conceptualizations of Health Promotion in relation to Healthcare Building Design

    Författare :Elke Miedema; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; architecture; salutogenics; health promotion; building design; health equity; healthcare facility; health promotive settings; built environment; health behaviour;

    Sammanfattning : Background: Today's healthcare system is under development and reorienting and adapting to embrace a person centred and holistic perspective on health, including a focus on health promotion. This reorientation results in changes in the healthcare models, processes as well as it sets new requirements for healthcare building design. LÄS MER

  2. 2. SERVICE-ORIENTED ARCHITECTURE : AN INNOVATION PROCESS PERSPECTIVE

    Författare :Annika Granebring; Péter Révay; Anita Håkansson; John Sören Pettersson; Mälardalens högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Computer and systems science; Data- och systemvetenskap; Industriell ekonomi och organisation;

    Sammanfattning : In traditional information systems for the grocery retail trade, the different parts are strongly dependent of each other. Should one function change, the whole system must be rebuilt which is expensive and time consuming. The result is that many necessary process improvements are never done. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Shaping Social Commitment : Architecture and Intellectuality in the 1970s and ’80s

    Författare :Sebastiaan Loosen; Leuven Arenberg doctoral school; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES;

    Sammanfattning : The overall research question that guides this dissertation, together with that of my colleague Elke Couchez, revolves around the formative years of architectural theory in Flanders. What conditions allowed architectural theory to mature into a self-aware and recognized discipline in the 1980s and 1990s? To this aim, the notion of ’architectural theory’ is broadened to that of ’architecture intellectuality’, which simply refers to ’thinking about architecture’. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Analysis of enterprise IT service availability : Enterprise architecture modeling for assessment, prediction, and decision-making

    Sammanfattning : Information technology has become increasingly important to individuals and organizations alike. Not only does IT allow us to do what we always did faster and more effectively, but it also allows us to do new things, organize ourselves differently, and work in ways previously unimaginable. 5. 5. Raffinerade rum : Bensinstationer och precisionskultur i Sverige 1926-1956

    Författare :Olle Wilson; Jon von Bonsdorff; Thomas Hård af Segerstad; Per Strömberg; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; Service stations; gas stations; petrol stations; filling stations; culture of precision; Bensinstationer; precisionskultur; visuell kultur; Konstvetenskap; History of Art;

    Sammanfattning : International petrol companies established themselves in Sweden in the mid-1920s and took control of the petrol trade in a manner that, within a relatively short space of time, left a clear imprint on the natural and built environments. The absence of petrol stations from the narrative of modern architecture raises questions about how this type of building should be understood. LÄS MER
