16. Tracking and radar sensor modelling for automotive safety systems
Sammanfattning : This thesis studies the problem of tracking in the setting of an automotive safety system. In particular, it considers the problem of estimating the surrounding traffic situation using observations from radar sensors. LÄS MER
17. DNA-Controlled Lipid-Membrane Fusion
Sammanfattning : Membrane fusion is essential for nerve-cell communication, for protein transport between cell organelles and the cell-membrane and for enabling the merger between virus and host membranes during virus infection. We have demonstrated that short DNA oligonucleotides, membrane-attached via CH in an orientation that mimics the overall zipperlike architecture of fusion-inducing proteins, induce fusion of both suspended vesicles and vesicles site-specifically tethered to SLBs. 18. Multi-Sensor Data Synchronization using Mobile Phones
Sammanfattning : Body sensor networking is a rapidly growing technology. Today wearable sensors are used to measure and monitor e.g. pulse, temperature, skin conductance, heart activity, and movement (through GPS or inertial measurement units). LÄS MER
19. On Sensor Fusion Applied to Industrial Manipulators
Sammanfattning : One of the main tasks for an industrial robot is to move the end-effector in a predefined path with a specified velocity and acceleration. Different applications have different requirements of the performance. For some applications it is essential that the tracking error is extremely low, whereas other applications require a time optimal tracking. LÄS MER
20. Sensor Fusion for Smartphone-based Vehicle Telematics
Sammanfattning : The fields of navigation and motion inference have rapidly been transformed by advances in computing, connectivity, and sensor design. As a result, unprecedented amounts of data are today being collected by cheap and small navigation sensors residing in our surroundings. LÄS MER
