  2. 7. Bridging the Semantic Gap between Sensor Data and Ontological Knowledge

    Författare :Marjan Alirezaie; Amy Loutfi; Silvia Coradeschi; Pascal Hitzler; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Semantic Gap; Ontology; Knowledge Representation and Reasoning; Sensor Data; Informatik; Informatics;

    Sammanfattning : The rapid growth of sensor data can potentially enable a better awareness of the environment for humans. In this regard, interpretation of data needs to be human-understandable. For this, data interpretation may include semantic annotations that hold the meaning of numeric data. LÄS MER

  3. 8. Geospatial data and knowledge on the Web : Knowledge-based geospatial data integration and visualisation with Semantic Web technologies

    Författare :Weiming Huang; Institutionen för naturgeografi och ekosystemvetenskap; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Geospatial data integration; data visualisation; Semantic Web; Linked Data; ontology;

    Sammanfattning : Geospatial information is indispensable for various types of spatially informed analysis and decision-making, such as traffic analyses, and natural resource management. Sammanfattning : In this dissertation, the meanings of the Swedish particles in ‘in’, ut ‘out’, upp ‘up’ and ner ‘down’ are analysed when these words function as verbal particles and thereby, together with the verb, build phrasal verbs. The analysis, primarily based on cognitive semantics, includes semantically regular as well as lexicalised phrasal verbs, and seeks to explain the polysemy of the particles. LÄS MER
