  1. 1. Process planning for precision manufacturing : An approach based on methodological studies

    Författare :Mats Bagge; Bengt Lindberg; Anders Kinnander; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Process planning; precision manufacturing; machining; tolerance chain analysis; process behaviour; process performance; process capability; in-process workpiece.; Production Engineering; Industriell produktion;

    Sammanfattning : Process planning is a task comprising a broad range of activities to design and develop an appropriate manufacturing process for producing a part. Interpretation of the part design, selection of manufacturing processes, definition of operations, operation sequences, machining datums, geometrical dimensions and tolerances are some common activities associated with the task. 2. 2. Deflating selection : On the interpretation and application of evolutionary theory

    Författare :Björn Brunnander; Sören Häggqvist; Paul Needham; Denis Walsh; Stockholms universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : Although the theory of evolution is well-established it nevertheless presents us with a few unresolved matters of interpretation. One key task is to get clear about what exactly one should take the term 'natural selection' to denote. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Pawsitive selection : Genetics of dog-human communication

    Författare :Mia Persson; Per Jensen; Lina Roth; Dominic Wright; Ádám Miklósi; Linköpings universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : Through domestication and recent selection, dogs have evolved a unique set of communicative skills to attract and redirect human attention. These social skills have not been seen to the same extent in socialised wolves and are therefore believed to have a significant genetic basis. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The aim of the thesis is to theoretically and empirically describe and explain the phenomenon of place-name adaptation which does not necessarily end with the borrowing or replication of place-names but can continue further. 48 Wendish place-names in Knýtlinga saga, including their attestations and variants in a selection of the saga’s text carriers and corresponding text witnesses, constitute the primary material for the investigation. 5. 5. The unemployment process : studies of search, selection, and social mobility in the labor market

    Författare :Tomas Korpi; Aage Sørensen; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SOCIAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; Sociology; Sociologi; Sociology; sociologi;

    Sammanfattning : The purpose of this thesis is to examine some particular aspects of the unemployment process, the process by which the risk of unemployment is distributed within a population. This process can be partitioned into five distinct stages; the initiation of a "negative work career", entry into unemployment, the situation during unemployment, exit from unemployment, and finally the long-term consequences of unemployment for the employment situation of the individual.
