    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; purchasing portfolio model; segmentation and differentiation; segmentation model; supply chain strategy; military logistics; defence procurement; defence supply chain design; modified Delphi study; portföljmodell; segmentering och differentiering; segmenterings-modell; försörjningsstrategi; militär logistik; försvarsanskaffning; utformning av militära försörjningskedjor; modifierad Delphistudie; Krigsvetenskap; War Studies;

    Sammanfattning : An important priority in the current Swedish Defence Bill is to increase the operational warfighting capability of the Swedish Armed Forces, which has implications for the defence supply chain. A recent study suggested that the Swedish Armed Forces should use segmentation of supplies and differentiation of supply chains to enable an affordable supply chain design (SCD). LÄS MER

  2. 2. Statistical Segmentation and Registration of Medical Ultrasound Data

    Författare :Mattias Hansson; Matematik LTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Registration; Segmentation; Feature descriptor; Statistical image and signal processing; Medical ultrasound; Variational methods; Mixture model; Bayesian; Markov Chain Monte Carlo; Similarity measur;

    Sammanfattning : The interpretation of ultrasonic imagery is typically not straightforward and of quite subjective nature and therefore strongly dependent on the expertise of its users. Thus the development of algorithms which aid in the interpretation of ultrasonic data is a highly relevant topic. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Segmentation of Laser Range Radar Images using Hidden Markov Field Models

    Författare :Predrag Pucar; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Segmentation; Images; Model based stochastic techniques; Image processing; Demanding algorithms; Hidden Markov model; Estimation; Automatic control; Reglerteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Segmentation of images in the context of model based stochastic techniques is connected with high, very often unpracticle computational complexity. The objective with this thesis is to take the models used in model based image processing, simplify and use them in suboptimal, but not computationally demanding algorithms. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Improving Multi-Atlas Segmentation Methods for Medical Images

    Författare :Jennifer Alvén; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Supervised learning; semantic segmentation; multi-atlas segmentation; conditional random fields; label fusion; feature-based registration; image registration; random decision forests; convolutional neural networks; medical image segmentation;

    Sammanfattning : Semantic segmentation of organs or tissues, i.e. delineating anatomically or physiologically meaningful boundaries, is an essential task in medical image analysis. One particular class of automatic segmentation algorithms has proved to excel at a diverse set of medical applications, namely multi-atlas segmentation. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Segmentation and fitting for geometric reverse engineering : processing data captured by a laser profile scanner mounted on an industrial robot

    Författare :Mohamed Rahayem; Johan Kjellander; Sören Hilmerby; Naoufel Werghi; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Geometric Reverse Engineering; Industrial robot; Laser profile scanner; Segmentation; Fitting; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP; Mechanical engineering; Maskinteknik; Maskinteknik; Mechanical Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : Geometric Reverse Engineering (GRE) is the problem of creating CAD models of real objects by measuring point data from their surfaces. The GRE process is usually divided into four sub processes, data capturing, preprocessing, segmentation, fitting and finally CAD model creation. To automate the GRE process the sub processes need to be integrated. LÄS MER
