Sammanfattning : The general aim of this thesis is to explore the relations between children’s interaction and places within preschool activities. How children’s interaction opportunities are conditioned by the physical and social environment in the preschool yard (study I), as well as place-making processes in various contexts in mobile preschool activities (studies II and III), are examined within the framework of this purpose. Sammanfattning : The overall aim of the Educational Process Reflection (EPR) studies has been to develop a better understanding concerning interaction between adults and children and the conditions for children’s peer play and interaction within the pre-school arena. The ultimate goal of the present study is to explore how practitioners through the use of EPR may develop the dimension of social interaction between practitioners and children and between children, in order to consciously create a more healthy and inclusive experience for all children and especially for children at risk. 4. Möten i psykodynamisk barnpsykoterapi : Förväntningar, samspel och förändring
Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to increase the knowledge of courses and processes of change prior to and during psychodynamic child psychotherapy with parallel parent contact. The dissertation examines parents’ and psychotherapists’ stated goals and expectations prior to the child’s psychotherapy, processes of change focusing on the psychotherapeutic encounter between child and psychotherapist, and outcome gauged by standardized measures compared to experienced change regarding the child’s problems. Sammanfattning : The present study sets out to clarify the concept and phenomenon of empathy, its application in health and medical care, and in particular its significance for the nurse patient interaction.How does empathy occur and develop, and are there functional instruments which can be used to measure empathy in Swedish nurses and nursing students? How do nurses with different backgrounds view the phenomenon of empathy, and what effects do different levels of environmental factors have on nurses' interaction with patients?Addressing these issues, the employed theoretical perspective is that of symbolic interactionism.
