  1. 16. Intra-Representational Practice : An Inquiry into the Conditions for the Possibility of Interdisciplinary Imaginative Collaborative Architectural Modeling in Sustainable Urban Design

    Författare :Pehr-Mikael Sällström; Daniel Koch; Helene Frichot; Gunilla Almström Persson; Isabelle Doucet; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :HUMANIORA; HUMANITIES; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Practice epistemology; Architecture; Urban design; Collaborative modeling; Interdisciplinary imagination; Communicative interaction; Representation; Distributed cognition; Intermodal communication; Trans-discourse.; Praktisk kunskap; Arkitektur; Stadsbyggnad; Kollaborativ modellering; Interdisciplinär föreställning; Kommunikativ interaktion; Representation; Distribuerad kognition; Intermodal kommunikation; Trans-diskurs; Arkitektonisk gestaltning; Architectural Design;

    Sammanfattning : A consequence of the concern for a sustainable future is that the number of experts needed to be included in the imaginative stage of architectural modeling is rising. This motivates a better understanding of the conditions for the possibility of transgressive collaborative plural imagination in architectural modeling. LÄS MER

  2. 17. Optimization of Low-Level Controllers and High-Level Polymer Grade Changes

    Författare :Per-Ola Larsson; Institutionen för reglerteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; process control; PID control; robustness; noise sensitivity; dynamic optimization; polymerization; Modelica;

    Sammanfattning : Two design problems at different levels in the control hierarchy are considered; optimization of robust low-level controllers with constrained control signal activity and optimization of economical high-level polyethylene grade changes. As for the first design problem, a constraint on control signal activity due to measurement noise is presented and used when optimizing and comparing PI/PID controllers with measurement filters of different orders. 3. 18. The Role of Enterprise Architecture in Local eGovernment Adoption

    Författare :Andreas Ask; Fredrik Karlsson; Karin Hedström; Eva Söderström; Örebro universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; electronic government; e-government; eGovernment; electronic services; e-services; eService; new public management; NPM; 24 7 agency; convergence; goal-achivement; project management; Enterprise Architecture; EA; elektronisk förvaltning; eFörvaltning; e-förvaltning; elektroniska tjänster; eTjänster; e-tjänster; konvergens; måluppfyllelse; Informatik; Informatics;

    Sammanfattning : eFörvaltning ses som ett medel för att göra kommunalt förvaltningsarbete mer effektivt och interoperabelt. Dock begränsas kommuner av oförmåga att uppnå det vilket försvårar genomförandet av deras uppdrag. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Upper Secondary Teachers as Designers of Technology Use for Learning

    Författare :Elisabeth Rolf; Robert Ramberg; Ola Knutsson; Åke Walldius; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Design patterns; design for learning; digital competence; pedagogy; technology in education; Computer and Systems Sciences; data- och systemvetenskap;

    Sammanfattning : The use of technology in education is by policymakers expected to expand, and efforts are laid out by the research community to support such a development. This thesis will explore how the introduction of design patterns in upper secondary education may contribute to an extended use of technology by applying the Educational Design Research (EDR) methodology. 5. 20. Genetics of complex disease

    Författare :Viktor Henmyr; Molekylär cellbiologi; []
    Nyckelord :complex disease; allergic rhinitis; Chronic rhinosinusitis; genetics; associations; GWAS; resequencing;

    Sammanfattning : To find true genetic associations in complex diseases, such as allergic rhinitis and chronic rhinosinusitis, is a difficult task. Both are polygenetic diseases where it is believed that genetic variation in several genes make up their phenotypes. LÄS MER
