  1. 16. Data-Rich Multivariable Control of Heavy-Duty Engines

    Författare :Maria Henningsson; Institutionen för reglerteknik; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Multivariable Control; Model Predictive Control; LQG Control; Virtual Sensing; System Identification; Diesel engines; HCCI engines; Dual-Fuel Combustion; Cylinder Pressure Sensors;

    Sammanfattning : The combustion engine is today the dominant technology for transportation of goods and people world-wide. Concerns for global warming, toxic exhaust emissions, as well as cost and availability of fuel have in recent years created incentives for technological evolution of combustion engines. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : In Sweden, extensive research is conducted to find alternative sources of energy that should partly replace the electric power production from nuclear power. With the ambition to create a sustainable system for producing energy, the use of renewable energy is expected to grow further and biofuels are expected to account for a significant part of this increase. 3. 18. Backstepping and control allocation with applications to flight control

    Författare :Ola Härkegård; Torkel Glad; Marc Bodson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :backstepping; control allocation; flight control; control theory; nonlinear control; reglerteknik; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : In this thesis we study a number of nonlinear control problems motivated by their appearance in flight control. The results are presented in a general framework and can also be applied to other areas. The two main topics are backstepping and control allocation. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Robust Control of an Induction Motor Drive

    Författare :Henrik Mosskull; Bo Wahlberg; Marian Kazmiekowski; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Automatic control; Reglerteknik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis considers robust control of an induction motor drive, consisting of an input filter, a voltage source inverter and one or several induction motors in parallel. The motor torque is here controlled by using the method Indirect Self Control (ISC), and power oscillations between the inverter and the input filter are damped by means of a stabilization controller in an outer feedback loop. 5. 20. Funnel-Based Control for Coupled Spatiotemporal Specifications

    Författare :Farhad Mehdifar; Dimos V. Dimarogonas; Charalampos P. Bechlioulis; Bayu Jayawardhana; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Funnel-Based Control; Prescribed Performance Control; Uncertain Nonlinear Systems; Time-Varying Output Constraints; Coupled Spatiotemporal Constraints; Formation Control; Multi-Agent Systems; Trattbaserad kontroll; föreskriven prestandakontroll; osäkra icke-linjära system; tidsvarierande utgångsbegränsningar; kopplade rumsliga begränsningar; formationskontroll; multiagentsystem; Electrical Engineering; Elektro- och systemteknik;

    Sammanfattning : In the past decade, the integration of spatiotemporal constraints into control systems has emerged as a crucial necessity, driven by the demand for enhanced performance, guaranteed safety, and the execution of complex tasks. Spatiotemporal constraints involve criteria that are dependent on both space and time, which can be represented by time-varying constraints in nonlinear control systems. LÄS MER
