  1. 1. Information sharing in mobile robot teams : deployment with uncertainty consideration

    Författare :Lars Andersson; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :Information sharing; robot teams; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : The work presented in this thesis deals with information sharing within mobile robot teams. Main focus is on information related to team positioning and localization. The goal of this research is to find models for how to best deploy a group of robots.The motion platforms covered are well adapted. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Multi-robot Information Fusion : Considering spatial uncertainty models

    Författare :Lars Andersson; Karl-Erik Rydberg; Aarne Halme; Linköpings universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : The work presented in this thesis covers the topic of deployment for mobile robot teams. By connecting robots in teams they can perform a better job than each individual is capable of. It also gives redundancy, increases robustness, provides scalability, and increases efficiency. 3. 3. Effective Engineering of Multi-Robot Software Applications

    Författare :Sergio Garcia; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Robotics; Multi-Robot; Autonomous Systems; Software Architecture; Empirical Research; Model-Driven Engineering; Domain-Specific Languages;

    Sammanfattning : Context: Service robots support humans by performing useful, repetitive or dangerous tasks. The development of service robots comes with severe software engineering challenges, since they require high levels of robustness and autonomy to operate and interact with highly heterogeneous, unconstrained, and partially known environments, often populated by humans. 4. 4. Coordination, Consensus and Communication in Multi-robot Control Systems

    Författare :Alberto Speranzon; Karl Henrik Johansson; George J. Pappas; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Multi-robot Coordination; Intelligent Control; Control under Communication Constraints; Automatic control; Reglerteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Analysis, design and implementation of cooperative control strategies for multi-robot systems under communication constraints is the topic of this thesis. Motivated by a rapidly growing number of applications with networked robots and other vehicles, fundamental limits on the achievable collaborative behavior are studied for large teams of autonomous agents. 5. 5. Om vikten av att i automationsprocessen integrera handens och hjärnans arbete

    Författare :Bertil Gustafsson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Tacit knowledge; Small scale production; Operator´s computer; Cross-functional work teams; Robot arc welding; Decentralised work organisation;

    Sammanfattning : This licentiate report attempts to add to our knowledge of how the competence of skilled workers can be incorporated into modern manufacturing systems, without depriving them of the status that they had earned through their previous specialised skills and knowledge. The work is concentrated on establishing a theoretical basis for a model of how the computer can support this work: the Operator's Computer approach has been applied in three case-studies, thus taking it over the threshold into the Swedish engineering industry.
