  1. 1. Stads- och trafikplaneringens paradigm : en studie av SCAFT 1968, dess förebilder och efterföljare

    Författare :Anders Hagson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; design; road pattern; traffic environment; urban planning; network; separation; differentiation; principles; road accidents;

    Sammanfattning : Swedish towns have been developed according to the planning guidelines issued by the National Road Administration and the National Board of Urban Planning in 1968; SCAFT 1968 Riktlinjer för stadsplanering med hänsyn till trafiksäkerhet (The SCAFT Guidelines 1968 Principles for urban planning with respect to road safety). The five principles for urban planning suggested are; Locating activities and functions, Separating different classes of traffic, Differentiation within each road network, Clearness, simplicity and uniformity as well as Neighbourhood units. 2. 2. Urban Growth Modeling Based on Land-use Changes and Road Network Expansion

    Författare :Yikang Rui; Yifang Ban; Henning Sten Hansen; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; urban growth sprawl; land-use simulation; multi-agent system; road network pattern; space syntax; complex networks; evolving weighted networks; nonlinear growth; local world; hierarchy; self-organized; local optimization; morphological changes; street centrality; adaptive kernel density estimation; dual representation;

    Sammanfattning : A city is considered as a complex system. It consists of numerous interactivesub-systems and is affected by diverse factors including governmental landpolicies, population growth, transportation infrastructure, and market behavior. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Discovering Contiguous Sequential Patterns in Network-Constrained Movement

    Författare :Can Yang; Yifang Ban; Gyözö Gidofalvi; Xiaoliang Ma; Clas Rydergren; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; map matching; trajectory pattern mining; closed contiguous sequential pattern mining; trajectory pattern visualization; Geodesy and Geoinformatics; Geodesi och geoinformatik;

    Sammanfattning : A large proportion of movement in urban area is constrained to a road network such as pedestrian, bicycle and vehicle. That movement information is commonly collected by Global Positioning System (GPS) sensor, which has generated large collections of trajectories. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Efficient Map Matching and Discovery of Frequent and Dominant Movement Patterns in GPS Trajectory Data

    Författare :Can Yang; Yifang Ban; Gyözö Gidofalvi; Xiaoliang Ma; Mirco Nanni; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; map matching; contiguous sequential pattern mining; contiguous sequential pattern comparison; movement pattern detection; Kartmatchning; sammanhängande sekventiellt mönster utvinning; sammanhängande sekventiellt mönster jämförelse; rörelsemönster detektering; Geoinformatics; Geoinformatik;

    Sammanfattning : The wide deployment of Global Positioning System (GPS) sensors for movement data collection has enabled a wide range of applications in transportation and urban planning. Frequent and dominant movement patterns embedded in GPS trajectory data provide valuable knowledge including the spatial and temporal distribution of frequent routes selected by the tracked objects and the regular movement behavior in certain regions. 5. 5. On the Relations between Driving Patterns, Exhaust Emissions and Network Characteristics in Urban Driving

    Författare :Lena Smidfelt-Rosqvist; Trafik och väg; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; traffic calming; intersections; driving adaptation; speed limits; Road transport technology; driving behaviour; Vägtransportteknik; overall effects; trip-long; non-local effects;

    Sammanfattning : The planning and design of street networks in cities influence driving behaviour and give rise to variations in driving patterns (i.e., speed and acceleration profiles) that affect exhaust emissions and fuel consumption. LÄS MER
