Sammanfattning : Sjögren’s syndrome (SS) and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) are systemic rheumatic autoimmune diseases having a major impact on patient’s wellbeing. Besides fatigue, pain and direct damage to exocrine glands in SS, and various target organs, such as skin, joints, kidneys and brain in SLE, these diseases confer an increased risk of lymphoma development and can cause an autoimmune condition in the foetus of pregnant patients, termed neonatal lupus. 17. Pregnancy in Ro/SSA positive women
Sammanfattning : Congenital heart block (CHB) may develop in the fetus during pregnancy in Ro/SSA positive women. It is a rare but life-threatening disease and the most serious manifestation of neonatal lupus erythematosus (NLE). The frequency of CHB in Ro/SSA autoantibody positive pregnancy is 1-2%, with a recurrence rate of 12-17%. LÄS MER
