   Sammanfattning : The objective of this research was to facilitate the use of quantitative cardiac molecular imaging by developing and validating methods and applications. More specifically:we determined the optimal tracer kinetic model for analysis of 11C-PIB and evaluated the performance of two simpler measures, retention index (RI) and standardized uptake value (SUV), in the quantification of cardiac 11C-PIB uptake in amyloidosis.    Sammanfattning : Fixed retainer after orthodontic treatment is an increasing retention appliance. For the mandibular incisors there are two different fixed retainers that are commonly used, either a canine-to-canine retainer bonded only to the canines or a twistflex retainer bonded to each of the mandibular incisors and canines.    Sammanfattning : Modification of softwood kraft pulp by the addition of either polysulfide (PS) or sodium borohydride (NaBH4) has been shown to increase the pulp yield due to a higher retention of glucomannan.  The pulps with higher yield gave a paper with higher tensile index than reference pulp, especially at lower degrees of refining.
