21. Psychosocial work conditions - cardiovascular disease, perceptions and reactive behavior
Sammanfattning : The overall aims of this thesis were to improve our understanding of (1) associations between adverse psychosocial work conditions and less explored cardiovascular outcomes, and (2) workers’ perceptions and reactive behaviour when exposed to such conditions. Sammanfattning : Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal neurodegenerative disease characterized by a loss of motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord, leading to progressive muscle weakness in multiple regions of the body. Sammanfattning : Background: Type 2 diabetes (T2D) and poor mental health are two major public health concerns in Europe. Ethnicity is identified as a risk marker for both conditions.
