  1. 1. Knowledge Utilisation in Swedish Neonatal Nursing : Studies on Guideline Implementation, Change Processes and Contextual Factors

    Författare :Lars Wallin; Uwe Ewald; Karin Wikblad; Alison Kitson; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; Pediatrics; neonatal nursing; knowledge utilisation; quality improvement; change processes; clinical practice guidelines; evidence-based nursing; contextual factors; research utilisation; Pediatrik; Paediatric medicine; Pediatrisk medicin;

    Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this thesis was to study the implementation of guidelines, change processes and contextual variables from the perspective of improvements and neonatal nursing care’s endeavours to be more evidenced-based. Because health care is exposed to extensive change pressure and because the impact of effectiveness research on clinical practice is limited, it becomes urgent to understand how knowledge utilisation initiatives can be facilitated. Sammanfattning : Energy from solar photovoltaic (PV) are generated as direct current (DC) and almost all of today’s electrical loads in residential buildings, household appliances and HVAC system (Heating Ventilation and Air-conditioning) are operated on DC. For a conventional alternating current (AC) distribution system this requires the need for multiple conversion steps before the final user-stage. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Business Intelligence Utilisation through Bootstrapping and Adaptation

    Författare :Wanda Presthus; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Business Intelligence; Utilisation; Bootstrapping; Adaptation; Installed Base; Information Infrastructure;

    Sammanfattning : Business Intelligence (BI) has traditionally been viewed as a technology-driven, rational process, which would lead to better decision-making in organisations. Fact-based decisions are expected to reduce costs and increase income for a company, but also, for example, prevent crime and illness on a more global scale. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Research utilisation in nursing practice : barriers and facilitators

    Författare :Kerstin Nilsson Kajermo; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :Barriers to research utilisation; educational program; focus groups; nursing; research dissemination; research implementation; research utilisation; knowledge utilisation;

    Sammanfattning : Research utilisation in nursing practice - barriers and facilitators To improve and develop nursing practice it is important that research findings are utilised by the nurses. The main purpose of this thesis was to explore barriers to and facilitators of research utilisation in nursing practice and to identify factors that might be of importance for that. LÄS MER
