Sammanfattning : The importance of studying cardiovascular disease before the process leads to hard end-points has been recognised, and methods to quantify early atherosclerosis have been taken in use in many research centres around the world. An ultrasound method with a computer assisted image analysing system was developed in co-operation with the Wallenberg Laboratory for Cardiovascular Research and Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. Sammanfattning : Activities in daily living, ADL are assessed as an outcome of the rehabilitation process or to be able to determine suitable interventions. The overall aim here was to analyse assessments in terms of ADL in order to investigate influences of ADL assessment and study the stability of the raters, instruments and modes of administration in assessing personal, P-ADL and instrumental, I-ADL items.
