    Sammanfattning : Leukotrienes belong to a family of biologically active conjugated trienes that are formed from arachidonic acid via the 5-lipoxygenase pathway and are important mediators of inflammatory reactions. The CysLT1 receptor that specifically serves as receptor for leukotriene D4 (LTD4) has been identified as a G-protein coupled receptor. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : The preconditions for Swedish MPs’ (Members of Parliament) loyalty to their parliamentary party groups have been modified by two recent constitutional changes: the introduction of preference voting in the electoral system in 1998, and the 1997 reorganisation of the national budgetary process.     Sammanfattning : Neuroimaging and neurophysiology techniques were used to study some aspects of cortical sensory and motor system reorganisation in patients in the chronic phase after stroke. Using Diffusion Tensor Imaging, we found that the degree of white matter integrity of the corticofugal tracts (CFT) was positively related to grip strength. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Healthcare-associated infections (HAI) are important causes of mortality and morbidity, and antibiotic treatment is often necessary. Development and availability of new antibiotics are closely followed by development of resistance among microorganisms.
