  1. 1. Recovering Moho parameters using gravimetric and seismic data

    Författare :Majid Abrehdary; Lars E. Sjöberg; Mohammad Bagherbandi; Pavel Novák; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :crust; gravity; mantle; Moho depth; non-isostatic effect; residual isostatic topography; stripping; thermal state; Vening Meinesz-Moritz model; Geodesy and Geoinformatics; Geodesi och geoinformatik;

    Sammanfattning : Isostasy is a key concept in geoscience to interpret the state of mass balance between the Earth’s crust and mantle. There are four well-known isostatic models: the classical models of Airy/Heiskanen (A/H), Pratt/Hayford (P/H), and Vening Meinesz (VM) and the modern model of Vening Meinesz-Moritz (VMM). LÄS MER

  2. 2. Rethinking Ontological Security Theory : Conceptual Investigations into 'Self' and 'Anxiety'

    Författare :Nina C. Krickel-Choi; Karl Gustafsson; Sebastian Larsson; Brent J. Steele; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; anxiety; body; concepts; embodiment; existentialism; Giddens; identity; IR theory; Japan; Laing; North Korea; ontological security; phenomenology; psychological constructivism; recovering meaning; security studies; self; sovereignty; states; Taiwan; internationella relationer; International Relations;

    Sammanfattning : The growing literature on ontological security has generated important insights about the behaviour of individuals, groups, and states in international politics. It has thereby greatly contributed to the discipline of International Relations (IR), especially to IR theory and the sub-field of Security Studies. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Physical fitness and quality of life in elderly patients recovering from an acute coronary event : a randomised controlled study on the effects of aerobic group training

    Författare :Agneta Ståhle; Karolinska Institutet; Karolinska Institutet; []
    Nyckelord :elderly; acute coronary event; myocardial infarction; unstable angina pectoris; aerobic group training; exercise capacity; health related quality of life; randomised controlled trial; cardiac rehabilitation; physiotherapy; heart rate variability;

    Sammanfattning : An active lifestyle into old age has been shown to reduce the risk for chronic disease, and conserve functional capacity. Caediac rehabilitation including exercise training is of proven value in ischemic heart disease. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Phosphorus recovery for fertilisers from dairy wastewater – Sustainability assessment at early stages of technology development

    Författare :Marta Behjat; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; environmental impacts; LCA; screening; phosphorus recovery; sustainability; indicator; meta-analysis; wastewater treatment; dairy wastewater;

    Sammanfattning : A reduction in the availability of phosphate rock resources for fertiliser production coincides with an increase in phosphorus-rich dairy wastewater in Europe. This confluence of events has led to the development of technologies for phosphorus recovery from dairy wastewater and the use of the products as fertilisers in agriculture. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Side-Channel Analysis of Post-Quantum Cryptographic Algorithms

    Författare :Kalle Ngo; Johnny Öberg; Ingo Sander; Elena Dubrova; Lejla Batina; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Side-channel attack; Post-quantum cryptography; Deep learning; LWE LWR-based KEM; Hardware security; Sidokanalsattack; Postkvantkryptering; Djupinlärning; LWE LWR-baserad KEM; Hårdvarusäkerhet; Informations- och kommunikationsteknik; Information and Communication Technology;

    Sammanfattning : Public key cryptographic schemes used today rely on the intractability of certain mathematical problems that are known to be efficiently solvable with a large-scale quantum computer. To address the need for long-term security, in 2016 NIST started a project for standardizing post-quantum cryptography (PQC) primitives that rely on problems not known to be targets for a quantum computer, such as lattice problems.
