    Sammanfattning : While both public opinion and scholars around the world are currently pointing out the danger of increasingly popular life-logging devices, this book articulates this debate by distinguishing between automatic and manual life-logging approaches. Since new definitions of life-logging have excluded the latter approach and have been mainly focused on effortless life-logging technologies such as Google Glass and Quantified Self applications in general, the second part of this thesis theoretically frames life-stowing.     Sammanfattning : Erik Beckman has a reputation of being a difficult author, verging on the incomprehensible. The point of departure in this study of his early writings, from the 1961 poem "Kärleksdikt under morotsträd" ("Love Poem Beneath Carrot-Tree) to the 1965 novel "Hertigens kartonger" ("The Duke's Cartons") is a hermeneutic problemizing of the description of him as an unreadable writer.     Sammanfattning : The latter half of the eighteenth century saw the piano’s rise in popularity in Europe, and alongside it many one-of-a-kind keyboard instruments that used the new technology of the hammer action in innovative ways. Recent scholarship revises the older view of these inventions as bizarre “dead ends,” suggesting that like the piano, they filled contemporary musical needs. LÄS MER
