1. Rekindled Business Relationships : A study of the re-activation process of buyer-supplier relationships in the defence and security industry in Sweden
Sammanfattning : Most research on buyer-supplier relationships has mainly focused on initiating, developing and ending the relationship with suppliers. However, the firm’s possibilities of doing business again with former suppliers have been largely overlooked. LÄS MER
2. Embodied simulation as off-line representation
Sammanfattning : This licentiate thesis argues that a key to understanding the embodiment of cognition is the “sharing” of neural mechanisms between sensorimotor processes and higher-level cognitive processes as described by simulation theories. Simulation theories explain higher-level cognition as (partial) simulations or emulations of sensorimotor processes through the re-activation of neural circuitry also active in bodily perception, action, and emotion. 3. Oxygen-reducing enzymes in coatings and films for active packaging
Sammanfattning : Oxygen scavengers are used in active packages to protect the food against deteriorative oxidation processes. The aim of this work was to investigate the possibilities to produce oxygen-scavenging packaging materials based on oxygen-reducing enzymes. LÄS MER
4. Stormy records from peat bogs in south-west Sweden : implications for regional climatic variability and vegetation changes during the past 6500 years
Sammanfattning : This thesis aims to reconstruct and explain variations in storm activity, humidity, vegetation composition and land cover in south-west Sweden during the past 6500 years. Two ombrotrophic bogs, Store Mosse and Undarsmosse, situated on the coastal plain of Halland, were selected for this purpose. LÄS MER
5. Genetic and epigenetic mechanisms underlying the regulation of flowering time
Sammanfattning : Developmental transitions and responses to the environment have a tight epigenetic control. Especially the switch to flowering is important for plants because it allows (sexual) reproduction, and should not occur unless the conditions are right. LÄS MER
