  1. 1. Inductive Pulse Generation

    Detta är en avhandling från Uppsala : Acta Universitatis Upsaliensis

    Författare :Adam Lindblom; Uppsala universitet.; [2006]
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Technology; Pulsed Power; Inductive Pulse Generator; High Voltage; Semicon; XLPE; TEKNIKVETENSKAP; TECHNOLOGY; TEKNIKVETENSKAP;

    Sammanfattning : Pulsed power generators are a key component in compact systems for generation of high-power microwaves (HPM). HPM generation by virtual cathode devices such as Vircators put high demands on the source. The rise time and the pulse length of the source voltage are two key issues in the generation of HPM radiation. LÄS MER

  2. 2. Measurement and Control of Attosecond Light Fields

    Detta är en avhandling från Department of Physics, Lund University

    Författare :Erik Mansten; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2009]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Pulse characterization; Spectral signature; Two-color generation; Pulse compression; Attosecond pulse trains; High-order harmonics; Pulse shaping; Tunable; Fysicumarkivet A:2009:Mansten;

    Sammanfattning : Attosecond pulses are used to study electron dynamics in atoms and molecules. In this thesis, schemes to control the generation of attosecond pulses and pulse-shaping techniques to compress the pulses are presented. Generation of attosecond pulses requires high intensity, which is reached by focusing a pulsed femtosecond laser. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Pulse oximetry - methodological conciderations : Experimental, in vitro and human investigations

    Detta är en avhandling från Linköping : Linköpings universitet

    Författare :Magnus Vegfors; Linköpings universitet.; Linköpings universitet.; [1992]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; MEDICINE; MEDICIN;

    Sammanfattning : Pulse oximeters monitor non-invasively the haemoglobin oxygen saturation. Light of two specific wavelengths, red and infrared light, is shined through a tissue, usually the finger, and the intensity of the light transmitted is measured. Oxyhaemoglobin absorbs the light differently when compared to reduced haemoglobin. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Scaling and Gating Attosecond Pulse Generation

    Detta är en avhandling från Atomic Physics, Department of Physics, Lund University

    Författare :Christoph Heyl; Lund University.; Lunds universitet.; [2014]
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Coherent imaging; Ultrafast electron dynamics; Single attosecond pulses; Attosecond pulse trains; XUV sources; High-order harmonic generation; XUV frequency combs; Fysicumarkivet A:2014:Heyl;

    Sammanfattning : High-order harmonic generation (HHG) provides the basis for attosecond light sources delivering coherent pulses in the extreme ultraviolet spectral region. Such light sources are employed for a variety of applications within imaging, attosecond spectroscopy, and high-precision frequency metrology. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Pulse-Synchronous Intramuscular Pressure Oscillations

    Detta är en avhandling från Göteborg : University of Gothenburg

    Författare :Andreas Nilsson; Göteborgs universitet.; Gothenburg University.; [2016]
    Nyckelord :MEDICIN OCH HÄLSOVETENSKAP; MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES; compartment syndrome; chronic anterior compartment syndrome; intramuscular pressure; pulse-synchronous oscillations in intramuscular pressure; intramuscular arterial pulsations; fiber-optic technique;

    Sammanfattning : Background Intramuscular pressure (IMP) is measured in studies of tissue nutrition and in the diagnosis of compartment syndromes. Patients with compartment syndromes have an elevated IMP due to increased volume in a muscle compartment. LÄS MER
