  1. 1. In the mind of the property appraiser : Studies of commercial property valuation

    Författare :Lina Bellman; Peter Öhman; Hans Lind; Neil Crosby; Mittuniversitetet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Behavioural property research; education; information; profession; property appraisers; standards and methods; the repertory grid technique; valuation process; Fastighetsbeteendeforskning; fastighetsvärderare; gridteknik; information; profession; standarder och metoder; utbildning; värderingsprocessen;

    Sammanfattning : A transparent market provides participants with as much information as possible. In Sweden, where the environment of commercial properties is highly transparent various actors still need to minimise some continuing information asymmetry, and one possibility is to hire property appraisers. 2. 2. Property fragmentation : Redistribution of land and housing during the Romanian democratisation process

    Författare :Karin E. K. Dawidson; Göran Hoppe; Iréne Nilsson; Örjan Sjöberg; Uppsala universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Social and economic geography; Romania; restitution; re-privatisation; democratisation; political geography; Kulturgeografi; Human geography; Kulturgeografi;

    Sammanfattning : In the context of democratisation in the early 1990s, the governments in Central and East Europe (CEE) had to decide how to deal with property that had been confiscated under state socialism. Nationalised housing and collectivised land were to a varying extent returned to former owners and their heirs by means of restitution, as well as being distributed to other citizens who were in possession of the users’ rights to such properties. 3. 3. Urban drainage and climate change : impact assessment

    Författare :Karolina Berggren; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; VA-teknik; Urban Water Engineering;

    Sammanfattning : According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC, 2007), the global mean temperature has increased by 0,7 °C during the last 100 years and, as a consequence, the hydrological cycle has intensified with, for example, more intense rainfall events. As urban drainage systems have been developed over a long period of time and design criteria are based upon climatic characteristics, these changes will affect the systems and the city accordingly. 4. 4. Property Impacts on Heat Exchanger Design in CO2 Cryogenic Process of Carbon Capture and Storage

    Författare :Yuting Tan; Jinyue Yan; Hailong Li; Bin Liang; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Literature review; CO2 conditioning; CO2 transport; CO2 storage; CO2 mixtures; CO2 cryogenic; heat exchanger; sizing design; property impact; viscosity; thermal conductivity; property model; Energy Technology; Energiteknik;

    Sammanfattning : Carbon capture and storage (CCS) is one of the most promising technologies which can significantly reduce CO2 emissions. A better understanding of thermo-physical properties of CO2 mixtures is required for the design and operation of different CCS processes. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Stakeholder Participation in Property Development

    Författare :Carlos Martínez-Ávila; Avdelningen för Byggproduktion; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Stakeholder; Participation; property development; Sustainable development;

    Sammanfattning : The traditional representation of urban property as a technical exercise of market analysis, valuation and investment appraisal fails to link urban property development to the general notions of sustainable development and thus the connection to environmental, economic and social aspects of sustainable urban development. Knowledge of the social processes in the production and use of the built environment, specifically in land and property development processes, is vital to understand the complexity of urban development and thus to assist the management of urban development processes.
