    Sammanfattning : The thesis is about what the buildings at manor estates, vicarages and farms looked like and how they changed during the agrarian revolution of the 18th and 19th centuries. 3. 18. Modelling and Experimental Investigations on Thermal Radiation in Combustion Environments

    Författare :Henrik Hofgren; Värmeöverföring; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; Thermal radiation; Property model; SNB; WSGG; LBL; Planck; particle; fly-ash; soot; grate; furnace; combustion;

    Sammanfattning : Thermal radiation is an important physical phenomenon in combustion environments. For the understanding of existing- and the design of new combustion environments computational modelling is a useful tool as it can describe the different transport phenomena. LÄS MER

  4. 19. Propagation of Chaos for Kac-like Particle Systems

    Författare :Dawan Mustafa; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Master equations; chaotic densities; kinetic equations; propagation of chaos; Kac model; thermostatted master equation; Boltzmann equation; BGK equation; quenched process; uniform distribution; spectral gap; approximation process; kinetic equations;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis concerns various aspects of the Kac model. The Kac model is a Markov jump process for a particle system where the total kinetic energy of the system is conserved. This particle model is connected to a limiting equation, describing the evolution of a one-particle density, when the numbers of particles tends to infinity. LÄS MER

  5. 20. Digital Rights Management - the New Copyright

    Författare :Kristoffer Schollin; Göteborgs universitet; []
    Nyckelord :SAMHÄLLSVETENSKAP; SOCIAL SCIENCES; Copyright; IT-law; Intellectual property; Digital rights management; DRM; TPM;

    Sammanfattning : DRM – DIGITAL RIGHTS MANAGEMENT is a wide term that covers many forms of technological schemes for controlling access, use and distribution of creative works – from the blunt and static restrictions on copy-protected Compact Discs to the sophisticated and fluid usage-rules in online music- and movie-stores such as iTunes. DRM technologies have been created and designed in response to a social development where global, digital networks are putting serious pressure on traditional distribution channels. LÄS MER
