  1. 6. Radio meteors above the Arctic Circle : radiants, orbits and estimated magnitudes

    Författare :Csilla Szasz; Asta Pellinen-Wannberg; Noah Brosch; Umeå universitet; []
    Nyckelord :TEKNIK OCH TEKNOLOGIER; ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY; meteors; meteoroids; dust; meteor radiants; meteoroid orbits; sporadic sources; radar; meteorradianter; meteoroidbanor; sporadiska källområden; radar; meteorer; meteoroider; interplanetärs stoft; Space engineering; Rymdteknik;

    Sammanfattning : This thesis presents results based on data collected with the 930 MHz EISCAT UHF radar system and three SKiYMet specular meteor radars. It describes in detail a method for meteoroid orbit calculation. The EISCAT UHF system comprises three identical 32 m parabolic antennae: one high-power transmitter/receiver and two remote receivers. 2. 7. Geochronology of Tectonothermal Events in the Parautochthonous Eastern Segment of the Sveconorwegian (Grenvillian) Orogen, Southwestern Sweden

    Författare :Ulf Söderlund; Berggrundsgeologi; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Sveconorwegian; SW Sweden; Eastern Segment; geochronology; U-Pb; zircon; titanite; polymetamorphic; high-grade; Geology; exhumation; physical geography; Geologi; fysisk geografi;

    Sammanfattning : Timing of deformation and metamorphism yield important information for understanding the development of orogenic processes and correlation of mobile belts and continents. This thesis adds new geochronological data constraining the age of protoliths and events of reworking in the frontal region of the c. 1.2-0. LÄS MER

  3. 8. The origin of the Ryllshyttan stratabound Zn-Pb-Ag-(Cu) + magnetite deposit, Garpenberg, Bergslagen, Sweden

    Författare :Nils Jansson; Luleå tekniska universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Malmgeologi; Ore Geology;

    Sammanfattning : Ryllshyttan is a Palaeoproterozoic lower amphibolite-facies poly-metamorphosed stratabound Zn-Pb-Ag-(Cu) + magnetite deposit. It is located in the Garpenberg inlier of the Bergslagen mining district of southern Sweden and produced ~ 1 Mt sulphide ore and ~ 0.4 Mt magnetite ore from the early 16th century until 1944. LÄS MER
