    Sammanfattning : Structural-equation modeling analyses were applied to data from 302 Swedish twin pairs in order to assess the relative importance of genetic and nongenetic influences on several metabolic cardiovascular risk factors. These middle-aged and elderly twins include monozygotic and dizygotic twins reared apart and together, who came from a population-based national twin register. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : Epilepsy is one of the most common neurological disorders worldwide, affecting 1% of the general population, and is characterized by a predisposition for the generation of epileptic seizures. Despite having several different aetiologies, a common underlying cause of epilepsy seems to be an acquired imbalance between excitatory and inhibitory circuits in the brain, which leads to hyperexcitability and appearance of seizures. Incubators accelerate the development of the firms towards growth, create an entrepreneurial and innovative climate in the region, and contribute to the commercialization of research results from the university.
