21. Lärare för förändring : att synliggöra och utmana föreställningar om naturvetenskap och genus
Sammanfattning : Lärares genusmedvetenhet i relation till naturvetenskaplig verksamhet är fokus för denna avhandling, som belyses genom två studier: en longitudinell aktionsforskningsstudie som genomfördes tillsammans med en grupp förskollärare/lärare och en studie där verksamma förskollärare/lärare under en fortbildningskurs fick tillämpa en genusteori på en verklig klassrumshändelse. Studierna visar att genusarbete är komplicerat eftersom det inbegriper många aspekter av livet och en viktig del av genusmedvetenheten är att förhålla sig till dessa olika aspekter. LÄS MER
22. Psykoanalys i ljuset av metafor och metonymi : En analys av Freuds teori om primärprocesstänkande och tolkningsarbete utifrån konceptuell metaforteori
Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to examine how Conceptual metaphor theory (CMT), with its detailed conceptual framework for various metaphorical and metonymic thought processes, can clarify and deepen psychoanalysis, specifically Freud's theory of the primary process thinking as a central element in his theory of the unconscious, as well as his interpretive work in the case study, Analysis of a phobia in a five-year-old boy (Little Hans). In a broader perspective, my dissertation also has educational relevance as a contribution to the theoretical discussions of meaning and meaning-making. LÄS MER

Sammanfattning : The aim of this compilation thesis is to understand how technology for visual storytelling can be shaped and used in relation to social science education in primary school, but also how social dimensions, technical and other matters create emerging learning conditions in such an educational setting. Sammanfattning : Professional competencies are explicitly identified in the primary learning outcomes for science and engineering degrees at many tertiary institutions. Sammanfattning : In this study the concept reading nature and its contribution to science education is discussed. Some scientific concepts relevant for reading nature are defined.
