    Sammanfattning : This dissertation explores the early digitalization in Sweden. As host to the first summit on the environment in Stockholm 1972 (UNCHE), as leading procurer of computer equipment as well as initiator to the world's first national Data Act of 1973, Sweden pioneered domains that have since emerged as critical to our age: environmental challenges and digital technology. 2. 2. Data Privacy for Big Automotive Data

    Författare :Boel Nelson; Chalmers tekniska högskola; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; data privacy; differential privacy; big data; vehicular data; privacy;

    Sammanfattning : In an age where data is becoming increasingly more valuable as itallows for data analysis and machine learning, big data has become ahot topic. With big data processing, analyses can be carried out onhuge amounts of user data. LÄS MER

  3. 3. Health Data : Representation and (In)visibility

    Författare :Pedro Sanches; Magnus Boman; Catherine Mulligan; KTH; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES;

    Sammanfattning : Health data requires context to be understood. I show how, by examining two areas: self-surveillance, with a focus on representation of bodily data, and mass-surveillance, with a focus on representing populations. LÄS MER

  4. 4. Data-driven microscopy: placing high-fidelity data in a population-wide context

  5. 5. Finding fitness : empirical and theoretical explorations of inferring fitness effects from population-level SNP data

    Författare :Bea Angelica Andersson; Xiao-Ru Wang; Åke Brännström; Tanja Slotte; Umeå universitet; []

    Sammanfattning : The distribution of fitness effects (DFE) describes the likelihood that a new mutation has a specific effect on the fitness of an individual in a given population. The shape of the DFE is a result of several factors such as population size, mating system and selective environment, and can in turn influence the evolutionary potential of a species. LÄS MER
