    Sammanfattning : The B8-type regions of the Mn-Sn and Cu-In systems have been investigated by means of electron and X-ray diffraction. The importance of the combination of these techniques in the study of B8-type phases is pointed out.     Sammanfattning : In the first part of this thesis we consider the question of the number of equivalenceclasses of holomorphic embeddings of Ck into Cn. We show the existence of holomorphicfamilies of proper holomorphic embeddings of Ck into Cn (0 < k < n−1),such that members of the family are pairwise nonequivalent in a suitable sense. LÄS MER

    Sammanfattning : This dissertation has been focused on the synthesis and characterization of novel functionalized silica mesoporous crystals by using cationic surfactant and co–structure directing agents (CSDA), the central concept of the synthesis method is to build proper organic/inorganic interactions by introducing CSDA into the synthesis system. By using cationic surfactant as template and anionic CSDA, carboxylic group functionalized mesoporous silicas were successfully synthesized. LÄS MER
