   Sammanfattning : The present study discusses three unveilings of statues in mid 19th century Sweden: Gustavus Adolphus in Gothenburg in 1854, Engelbrekt in Örebro in 1865, and Charles XII in Stockholm in 1868. Based on long-term fieldwork from 2013 to 2014 within Palestinian-Chilean networks, organizations, and places it explores how an inherently political Palestinianness is constituted, expressed and explored via memory on the one hand and processes related to space and place on the other.    Sammanfattning : The aim of this study is to explore how pensionerhood is formed through music-making. What are the building blocks of pensionerhood in musical contexts, and which values are included and excluded? In the study pensionerhood is defined in terms of cultural position, the term forming is used to define conditioning, limiting and enabling forces and the term music-making denotes a wide set of activities from arranging venues to performance.    Sammanfattning : This dissertation examines the institutional ontology of museums: how it is being changed and which issues and actors are calling for such change.  A museum project that started from scratch in the mid-2010s – the Museum of Movements in Malmö, Sweden – is used as a lens to examine how the global processes of (re)imagining the museum are unfolding in the local Swedish context.
