    Sammanfattning : The objective of the thesis is to illuminate and further the understanding of a period of history known as the ”record years” (1960-1975), and ”the million homes program” (1965-1974). The questions discussed in the thesis include: what was the attitude of local authorities to the building of homes? How was the location of the buildings decided? Which factors influenced the character of the buildings and housing areas? This involves a study of the interplay among the various actors and a discussion of the role of the architects. LÄS MER
