    Sammanfattning : Syftet med den här avhandlingen är att skapa förståelse för den textila konstens kunskapscirkulation med utgångspunkt från Konstslöjdanstalten vid Kulturen i Lund 1897–1932, med inriktning på dess historiska kontext, organisation och textila produktion.   Avhandlingen belyser hur Sveriges utbredda textila kunskapskapital och traditioner samt idéer och utbildningsambitioner kring konst och hantverk skapade ett textilt kunskapslandskap kopplat till dåvarande kulturhistoriska idéer.     Sammanfattning : This thesis in a tripartite disposition is intended to analyse and synthesize conscious and unconscious reminiscences of reading Homer in Jean Giono’s works, especially the figure of Odysseus polutropos or polumècanos, and to elucidate how the modern author through his characters regenerates this topos. Despite the fact that these two authors sprang from, in time and space, remotely situated places in the Mediterranean soil, the agrarian and manufacturing societies to which they belonged had many similarities.     Sammanfattning : In Jonathan Littell’s The Kindly Ones (Les Bienveillantes, 2006), a discrepancy is found between the historical account and the personal story, indicating the major ambivalence that arises from the creation of a historical world (noesis) as opposed to a fictional world (poiesis). This major ambivalence is connected to a range of minor ambivalences (and other elements of uncertainty) that are related to the novel’s treatment of the historical period of World War II in ways that unsettle and defamiliarize the typical standards of Holocaust representations.
