1. Melt spun piezoelectric textile fibres : an experimental study
Sammanfattning : Melt Spun Piezoelectric Textile Fibres - an Experimental Study ANJA LUND Department of Materials and Manufacturing Technology Chalmers University of Technology ABSTRACT The manufacturing and characterisation of piezoelectric textile fibres are described in this thesis. A piezoelectric material is one that generates an electric voltage when deformed, a property which exists in a number of materials. LÄS MER
2. Fabrication and Characterization of Zinc Oxide Nanostructures for Piezoelectric, Mechanical and Electrical Applications
Sammanfattning : Nanotechnology, the science of manipulating materials on an atomic or molecular scale is one of the fastest growing areas of research and technology. Nanotechnology has a vast range of applications in medicine, electronics, biomaterials and energy production. New developments in nanotechnology are growing all the time. LÄS MER
3. Manufacturing and Characterisation of Conductive and Piezoelectric Textile Fibres
Sammanfattning : This thesis explores the manufacturing and characterisation of melt spun electrically conductive polymer nanocomposites and piezoelectric textile fibres. Potential applications of these fibres are for example textiles with heating and sensor capabilities. LÄS MER
4. Tunable Bulk Acoustic Wave Resonators Based on BaxSr1-xTiO3 Thin Films
Sammanfattning : The main focus of this thesis is the study of a novel component based on ferroelectric BaxSr1−xTiO3 thin films – the tunable thin film bulk acoustic resonator (TFBAR). The tunable TFBAR utilizes a dc field induced piezoelectric effect in the ferroelectric film, in contrast to conventional fixed frequency TFBARs, widely used for filtering applications in wireless communication systems, which are based on ordinary piezoelectric materials.
