  2. 2. Verification of high energy photon therapy based on PET/CT imaging of photonuclear reactions

    Författare :Sara Janek Strååt; Anders Brahme; Cathrine Jonsson; Iuliana Dasu; Sibylle Ziegler; Stockholms universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Photonuclear reactions; PET CT treatment verification; High-energy photon therapy; Medical Radiation Physics; medicinsk strålningsfysik;

    Sammanfattning : For classical and intensity modulated radiation therapy of deep-seated tumors, high-energy photons are the optimal radiation modality from an integral dose point of view. By using narrow scanned beams the treatment outcome can be improved substantially by delivering biologically optimized intensity modulated distributions often with sharp dose gradients. LÄS MER

  4. 4. The (γ,p) reaction in 16O and 18O at Eγ=50 - 70 MeV

    Författare :Per Lilja; Lunds universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; 16O γ; Photonuclear reactions; 18O γ; p ; E= 50 - 70 MeV; tagged photons; differential cross sections; Nuclear physics; Kärnfysik; Fysicumarkivet A:2004:Lilja;

    Sammanfattning : A measurement of the reactions 16O(γ,p)15N and 18O(γ,p)17N have been made with tagged photons in the energy range Eγ ≈ 50 – 70 MeV. The protons have been detected in ΔE-E telescopes with silicon strip detectors as ΔE detectors and HPGe crystals as E detectors. LÄS MER

  5. 5. Compton Scattering from the Deuteron at Low Energies

    Författare :Magnus Lundin; Lunds universitet; []
    Nyckelord :NATURVETENSKAP; NATURAL SCIENCES; Compton scattering; photonuclear reactions; deuteron; differential cross sections; 50-70 MeV; polarizability; tagged photons; Nuclear physics; Kärnfysik; Fysicumarkivet A:2002:Lundin;

    Sammanfattning : A series of three Compton scattering experiments on deuterium have been performed at the high-resolution tagged-photon facility MAX-lab located in Lund, Sweden. The 50 < Eg < 70 MeV tagged photons were scattered from a liquid deuterium target and detected simultaneously in three (10"x10") NaI detectors. LÄS MER
