Sammanfattning : Pancreatic endocrine tumors (PETs) occur sporadically or in the familial multiple endocrine neoplasia type 1 (MEN1) syndrome, whereas midgut carcinoids are nonfamilial, malignant endocrine tumors of the intestine.
