    Sammanfattning : The rapid rise in myopia prevalence has caused an urgent need for effectivemyopia control interventions. This thesis investigates the role of theperipheral optics of the human eye in myopia progression.     Sammanfattning : Bariatric surgery can rapidly improve glycemic control and cardiovascular risk factors in patients with T2D and obesity. These improvements appear to be partly independent of weight loss, however, the underlying mechanisms remain incompletely understood. LÄS MER
