Sammanfattning : The aim was to study some aspects of patients´ well-being, related to nutrition, activities of daily living and health related quality of life, when undergoing major gastrointestinal cancer surgery. Chart documentations (N=45) of patients undergoing subtotal pancreatectomy were studied, and showed the patients' well-being to be affected, although it was not possible to fully evaluate the results of the assessments and the care given. Sammanfattning : The overall aim of this thesis was to elucidate haw persona with muscular dystrophy (MD) and their next of kin experience and describe their daily lives over the last ten years. 5. Enabling disability rights in practise : Understanding how the governance of state-funded personal assistance is fulfilling the Swedish LSS Act
Sammanfattning : Personal assistance (PA) is stated in Article 19 of the UNCRPD as an internationally recognised disability right and is operationalised as a measure in the Swedish Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments (the LSS Act). The Act’s overall policy goal is to promote good living conditions for the eligible persons by enabling participation in society on equal terms with others. LÄS MER
