Äldre personer med ohälsa i form av kognitiv svikt (oftast demenssjukdom) kan bli beroende av vård och omsorg i särskilda boenden för äldre för att kunna känna trygghet och välbefinnande samt ha ett gott liv, i gemenskap med andra.
