Sammanfattning : This thesis explores art education at the preschool and primary school levels. My primary concern has been to analyze art practices in different pedagogical settings; the major questions are:- How are art activities performed; what kind of mental tools do teachers offer and what kind of guidance do they provide?- How do teachers talk about art and art making in their art activities?- Is there a "poetic" or aesthetic dimension in preschool and primary school art activities?The analyses are based on micro-analyses of videotapes of all art activities at five preschools, five primary schools (second grade) and five. Sammanfattning : The aim of this dissertation is to explore how two teachers communicate content knowledge and metalinguistic knowledge in the teaching of young second language learners. As a qualitative classroom study, it examines how two widely advocated forms of metaknowledge are used in instruction: metalinguistic knowledge, in particular genre knowledge, and reading strategies. Sammanfattning : Using as example twelve novels by Robert Bober, Michel Houellebecq and Yasmina Khadra, the dissertation discusses the aesthetic and pragmatic implications of integrating didactically historical reference in fictional narrative and personal theme. Rather than reducing the works of Bober, Houellebecq and Khadra to tendency novels sculptured to pass on a predetermined message, the study discusses the aesthetic values created by didactical play.
