The question that has been answered is: which crime prevention effects mediation has had on young criminals who have participated in mediation programs? Without visual impressions verbal communication can have an important compensatory function, giving the child access to the external world and to social information that can not be obtained by other means. The Reflective Functioning (RF) scale is the golden standard in measuring mentalizing.
