11. Structure and Motion Estimation in Rigid Body Perspective Dynamic Systems
Sammanfattning : Abstract This thesis concerns different aspects of recursive estimation of structure and motion in dynamic rigid body perspective systems, where the three-dimensional position of observed object feature points are expressed as states in a system of deterministic or stochastic differential equations describing the object motion, combined with a set of output equations in the form of two-dimensional perspective measurements obtained using a single camera. Firstly, a number of novel hybrid matching constraints are derived for the recovery of motion parameters in a rigid body perspective system where the measurements can be considered as arriving at closely spaced time instants. 12. η Meson Production in Proton-Proton Collisions at Excess Energies of 40 and 72 MeV
Sammanfattning : The production of η mesons in proton-proton collisions has been studied with the WASA detector using internal pellet targets in the CELSIUS storage ring at the The Svedberg Laboratory in Uppsala. Data were taken at two beam energies, 1360 MeV and 1445 MeV, corresponding to CM excess energies of 40 and 72 MeV, respectively. LÄS MER
13. Space-time processing and equalization for wireless communications
Sammanfattning : In this thesis several aspects of space-time processing and equalization for wire-less communications are treated. We discuss several different methods of improving estimates of space-time channels, such as temporal parametrization, spatial parametrization, reduced rank channel estimation, bootstrap channel estimation,and joint estimation of an FIR channel and an AR noise model.
